"The RockVine live edge table we have is beautiful. We chose Cedar with its rich warm hues, and the resin outer edge features we chose have really added to the richness of the table. The infills in the table look amazing and the whole process from start to finish was a total pleasure. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a distinct and real focal point to their home. Well done RockVine."

Frequently asked questions
How much does a bespoke resin river dining table cost?
RockVine resin river dining tables are quoted per project because every piece is one-off. Pricing depends on size, the timber chosen, the resin colour and finish, and the base style. As a guide, our bespoke resin river dining tables start from around £4,000, with larger statement pieces costing more depending on the slabs, the resin work and the base.
What timber and resin do you use for river tables?
We pair British and European hardwoods with high-clarity epoxy resin. Popular timber choices are English oak, walnut, elm, ash, cedar and yew, each hand-selected for its grain and natural edge. The resin "river" that runs between the timber can be tinted to your choice of colour — from clear and smoked through to deep blues, emerald or a subtle metallic shimmer. Bespoke timber and colour requests are welcomed.
Will the timber crack or warp over time?
Properly prepared timber won't. Every slab is kiln-dried to a stable moisture content and acclimatised in our workshop before the resin pour. The resin itself locks around the natural edges and stabilises any voids, cracks or knots, so your river table stays flat and structurally sound for decades.
Are resin river tables durable for everyday use?
Yes. Every RockVine river table is finished with a hard-wearing, water- and stain-resistant satin finish built for daily family life. Wipe spills promptly with a soft cloth and use trivets for very hot pans — resin is heat-sensitive, so it's worth protecting as you would any fine surface. With basic care, the surface stays beautiful for years.
What sizes do resin river dining tables come in?
Every table is made to order. Lengths from 1.6m to 3.0m, widths up to 1.4m (depending on slab availability), standard dining height 750mm. Longer pieces are available on request. River tables make striking rectangular statement dining tables, and we're happy to discuss other forms with you.
How long does a bespoke resin river table take to make?
Lead time is typically 8 to 10 weeks from sign-off, depending on slab availability, the resin pour and curing, and finish complexity. Resin needs time to cure fully, so river tables take a little longer than solid timber pieces. We confirm a firm timeline with your quote and keep you updated at each stage of the build.
Can I see and choose the actual slabs before you build?
Yes. Because every river table is unique, we encourage buyers to visit our Stockport workshop by appointment to choose the timber and discuss resin colours in person. Alternatively we can send detailed photos and video walkarounds of available slabs and resin samples so you can pick what's right for you.
