1300mm diameter — comfortably seats 6
1500mm diameter — comfortably seats 6–8
1700mm diameter — comfortably seats 8
2000mm+ diameter — seats 10 (best suited to hospitality or large family dining)

Quick rule: allow roughly 600mm of edge per person for comfortable dining, 550mm for a cosier fit. A round concrete table over 2000mm in diameter becomes hard to reach across, so for larger groups we'd generally recommend an oval concrete dining table instead.

Base options for round polished concrete dining tables

A heavy round concrete top needs a properly engineered base. RockVine offers several options depending on the look you're after:

Pedestal base — clean, contemporary, maximises legroom. Our most popular base for round tables.
Cross / X base — more visual interest, architectural feel, also good for legroom.
Concrete plinth base — matching polished concrete plinths for a monolithic look.
Bespoke structural base — if you've seen something specific, we'll fabricate it.

Every round concrete dining table from RockVine can be specified in any of our standard colours — over 30 options from bright white through mid grey to charcoal black — plus custom RAL-matched shades if you need something specific. We also offer textured surfaces and metal-alloy finishes for a more distinctive look.

Round polished concrete dining tables at RockVine start from £1,395 for our Slimline range at 900mm diameter. Premium tables (75mm profile) start higher, and custom colours, textures, or bases add typically £300–£450 per option.

Round vs oval concrete dining tables

If you need to seat more than 8 people, consider an oval concrete dining table instead of round. Oval tables give you the social flow of a round table but with extra length for more seats — we routinely build oval concrete dining tables at 2.4m × 1.2m seating 8–10 comfortably.
