Our team is always available if you need further guidance.

Getting a price - placing an order - the process.

How do I obtain a quote for a table?
Simply send us your desired table type (Polished Concrete / Resin River / Live Edge), size (length × width × height), preferred finish, base/legs style, and any special features. We’ll review your requirements and respond with a tailored quotation including lead‑time and detailed prices/options.

You can do this via our conversation form or call us for chat
What happens once I approve the quote?
Once you approve the quote, we ask for a 50% deposit to place the order. We then finalise any undecided design details (timber choice, concrete finish, base style etc., ) and then we schedule manufacturing.

The balance is due before shipping/delivery.
How is delivery managed and what will I need to prepare?
We arrange the delivery via with our specialist carriers for heavy furniture. They have years of experience installing our products.

You’ll receive preparation instructions and confirmation of delivery slot. We will also contact you the day before delivery to ensure you have a firm ETA - and our drivers also keep in touch on the day if they are running off schedule.

Clear access is required and we may need to ask you to have someone available to assist in placing the table in situ.
What if I need to make a change after quote / during manufacture?
Minor changes can be accommodated early in the process. After we start laying the micro-cement or timber slab cutting begins, changes may incur additional cost or delay. But we will always work with you to ensure your table is exactly the way you want it to be.
Can I visit your workshop/showroom or view sample tables/finishes in person?
Yes — we welcome visitors to our factory to view sample finishes, leg‑styles and current tables we have in our showroom. We recommend booking ahead so we can allocate sufficient time to walk you through options.

You can also request samples depending on the type of table you are interested in.
What lead‑time should I expect?
Lead‑time depends on table type and customisation. From deposit to dispatch typically a polished concrete table is 4-6 weeks but a more complex design, or a timber table could be 6–12 weeks for a fully bespoke piece.

(Rush options may be possible subject to availability and we do carry a small range of 'in stock' tables.
What are the payment terms?
A 50% deposit to place the order; 50% is then due 2 working days before dispatch.

Debit card and bank transfers are accepted. We can also invoice you via PayPal to enable you to use a credit card.

You cannot pay the driver on the day as they are not directly employed by RockVine and are not able to take payments.
What are my consumer rights?
Under UK consumer law, because your order is placed remotely (online or by email), you have the right to inspect the piece at home and, if it isn’t exactly as described or you’re simply not happy with it when it’s delivered and installed, you can ask us to take it back and receive a full refund.

You will be asked to sign a delivery note by our driver and you should only sign this when you have checked the table and are happy.

Polished Concrete (Micro‑cement) Tables

If we haven't answered your questions please do get in touch.
What exactly is a 'polished concrete' table?
A polished concrete micro-cement table is a durable and robust table that uses a thin layers of a cement-based mix to achieve a modern, seamless, and durable surface that mimics the look of concrete.

Typically the concrete on a RockVine table is 2-3mm thick - unlike some competitors who merely 'skim' a thin veneer of micro-cement less than 1mm thick.

It is not a traditional solid concrete slab but rather a composite material applied over a base like a green MDF board making it a lightweight and versatile option for furniture.

RockVine make polished concrete tables in almost any colour.
How do I look after a polished concrete table?
Use coasters, wipe spills promptly, avoid abrasive cleaners. Wash with warm soapy water & avoid any harsh chemicals or sprays.

Periodic re‑sealing may be advised depending on use although it should not need it for many many years. This can be easily be done on site.

For any serious - damage please contact us.
What customisation is possible?
Custom shape/size,edge profile, colour finishes, embedded detailing, and base/leg styles are amongst the many options we can make to your design.

RockVine can lay multiple colour-ways, inset logos, add design features or create almost any shape or size. Visit our Customisation Page for more details.

Resin River Tables

If we haven't answered your questions please do get in touch.
What is a Resin River table?
A slab of wood (often live‑edge) with a carved ‘river’ channel filled with epoxy resin, creating a fluid, artistic design.

There are many different styles and types of resin river table and RockVine ensures that no two tables are the same.

With infinite combinations or wood, shape, style, resin colours & bases we guarantee no two tables ever look alike.
What are the pros and cons of a Resin River table?
Pros – unique, one‑off aesthetic; highly customisable.

Cons – heavier and typically a much higher cost due to complexity and length of manufacturing and curing times.
Can I decide the colour of the resin river?
Yes — you can choose from clear, tinted, metallic or custom pigment options.

We will walk you through all the options and send you samples before you sign off on the final choice.
What wood & resin options are available?
Premium hardwoods like Walnut, Oak or Maple, paired with food‑safe, high‑clarity epoxy resin in custom colours or finishes.

We also work with Cedar, Cypress, Apple, Olive, Douglas Fir and Cherry.

The choices are infinite and we can walk you through the choices available to suit your living space.

All our timber is sustainably sourced from local suppliers.
How do I care for a Resin River table?
Clean with mild soap and soft cloth, avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive pads, and protect from strong UV or heat.

Like any surface RockVine tables are built to withstand the rigours of daily life - but a bit of extra care and attention will ensure you table lasts for generations.
Is the weight much more than a regular table?
Yes — due to the thickness of the resin and the solid slabs of timber. Typically our finished table thickness is 35mm to 40mm and the weights can exceed 60-80kg

We’ll advise on weight and we design the bases to support our tables accordingly.

Live Edge Tables

If we haven't answered your questions please do get in touch.
What defines a Live Edge table?
A table that retains the natural edge of the tree, preserving organic contours, knots, and grain.

RockVine specialises in turning the natural wood slab into something stunning by filling any imperfections with an appropriate and complimentary resin without losing the incredible natural beauty of the wood.

RockVine live edge timber tables are truly unique.
How will a live edge table behave over time?
Wood expands/contracts with humidity; a quality maker accounts for this with proper reinforcement.

RockVine prides itself on the quality of its live edge tables and their long-term performance.
Can I choose the base/legs and finish?
Yes — right from the time you decide to place your order we will help you select your very own wood slab, design the base style, and finish to suit your space.

It is a collaborative process with phone calls, video consults, photos and emails to ensure you are totally happy with your RockVine live edge table.
What should I check when buying a live edge table?
Wood species, drying method, single vs joined slab, finish, and structural support.

All our timber is kiln dried and planed flat. We make a premium surface that will last decades with proper care.

Structurally supportive bases are essential to ensure that the timber does not warp or twist.
How should I care for a live edge timber table?
Avoid humidity extremes, wipe spills promptly, use coasters, and periodically re‑oil or refinish.

Refinishing is a simple task that can be carried out at home every few years and requires no special skills or products. You can always ask for our advice.
What makes RockVine live edge tables different?
Premium sourced timber, bespoke craftsmanship, and refined finishing to the highest standard.

We love making live edge tables and bringing out the beauty of the live and vibrant edges and imperfections found in all real timber.
