Rustic modern resin river table with live edges

Resin River with Live Edges

The most dramatic version of the form — single planrom the same cuts set along their length, set apart, and reunited by a flowing river of coloured resin.

The live edges of the timber are kept completely intact, so the natural outline of the tree becomes part of the design.

Striking from every angle and impossible to replicate exactly.

Resin River Multiple Planks

Rather than a single split slab, this approach uses several timber planks separated by rivers of resin running the full length of the table.

It allows for wider tops, bolder resin channels, and a more graphic, architectural feel.

A great option for larger dining spaces where scale and impact really matter.

Resin River Customisation

Resin colour, channel width, timber species, base style — every element of a resin river table is chosen by you.

We work through the options together, using sample boards and imagery to make sure the combination is right before anything goes into production.

The goal is a table that feels like it was always meant for your space.

"The craftsmanship and quality of the table is outstanding, and it feels like it was made just for us. We couldn’t be more thrilled with how our home looks and feels now. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for bespoke, high-quality dining table!"

Frequently asked

Resin river table FAQs.

Honest answers to the questions buyers ask us most often before commissioning a bespoke RockVine resin river table.

How much does a bespoke resin river table cost?+

RockVine resin river tables are quoted per project because every piece is unique. Pricing depends on size, the timber chosen, the resin colour and finish, and the base style. As a guide, smaller resin river tables typically start around £2,500, with larger feature pieces ranging £4,000 to £8,000+. Get in touch for a tailored quote.

What timber do you use for resin river tables?+

We work with British and European hardwoods sourced through trusted suppliers. Most popular choices are English oak, walnut, elm and ash. We hand-select each slab for its character, grain, and the way the live edge will frame the resin river. Bespoke timber requests welcomed.

What resin colours can I choose?+

We offer over 50 resin colours, from clear glass-effect to deep ocean blues, emerald greens, charcoal blacks, soft milky whites and metallic accents. Custom colour matching is available if you have a specific shade in mind. We send physical samples on request before you commit.

Are resin river tables durable for everyday use?+

Yes. Every RockVine resin river table is finished with a food-safe satin sealer and built to handle daily family life. The resin is heat resistant up to around 80°C and UV-stabilised so the colour stays true. Wipe spills promptly, use trivets for very hot pans, and avoid abrasive cleaners.

What sizes do bespoke resin river tables come in?+

Every table is made to order. Lengths from 1.6m to 3.0m, widths up to 1.4m, standard dining height 750mm. Larger sizes available on request — some of our hospitality projects exceed 4m. Round, oval and shaped river tables are also available alongside rectangular forms.

How long does a bespoke resin river table take to make?+

Lead time is typically 6 to 10 weeks from sign-off. Resin river tables take longer than our concrete tables because the resin needs to cure slowly under controlled conditions to remain crystal clear and bubble-free. We confirm a firm timeline as part of your quote.

Will the resin yellow over time?+

Cheap resin will. Properly engineered UV-stabilised art-grade resin will not. We only use professional-grade UV-resistant resin systems specifically designed for furniture, so RockVine resin river tables stay clear and true to their original colour for decades. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight to maximise longevity.

Where are RockVine resin river tables made?+

Every resin river table is handmade in our Stockport workshop in Greater Manchester. We deliver and install across the UK as standard. You can visit our showroom by appointment to see live samples and live timber inventory in person.
