Every piece refinished before dispatch. Each showroom table is resealed, retouched and inspected by our team in our Stockport workshop before it leaves us — so the piece that arrives is in pristine condition, with the patina and provenance of where it has been.
A solid walnut burl coffee table with hand-poured black resin filling the natural surface voids, irregularities and figured grain of the timber. The resin is sanded flush with the timber surface and finished smooth to the touch, then sealed by hand in our Stockport workshop. The result is a sculptural, tactile piece where the dramatic figure of walnut burl is set against the depth of black resin — a one-off, with the grain pattern of this slab impossible to replicate.
Construction: Solid walnut burl timber, 40mm tabletop thickness, hand-poured black resin infill, hand-finished smooth and sealed. Steel legs supplied separately with all fixings — light self-assembly required on delivery.
Built at the RockVine workshop in Stockport. Walnut burl is rare — the swirling, figured grain only forms in stressed or damaged trees, and no two slabs ever match. This piece spent time in our showroom before being refinished and brought back to a pristine finish by our team. A characterful coffee table, available once, ready to dispatch.
Solid timber rewards a little care. Wipe spills promptly with a dry cloth, avoid abrasive cleaners, and use coasters under hot or wet items. The resin-filled timber is sealed but not invincible — a gentle furniture wax once a year keeps the surface looking its best. Direct sunlight may gradually deepen the timber tone over time, which is part of the patina. Full care guide supplied with delivery.
