Mark joined RockVine in October 2024 as investor and strategic partner, bringing over three decades of senior operational and governance experience across fintech, regulated gaming and digital commerce. His role is simple: make sure the business behind the workshop is as good as the work that comes out of it.
Mark oversees RockVine's operational framework, finance, compliance and business development — ensuring systems, processes and partnerships are built to scale sustainably. His role spans production planning and supplier strategy through to customer journey design and long-term growth modelling.
Mark's partnership with RockVine founder Steve Brocklesby goes back many years. Their working relationship is built on trust, shared values and a mutual commitment to blending craft excellence with professional governance. While Steve leads the creative direction, Mark provides the commercial architecture that supports RockVine's growth as a premium British design brand.
With a background spanning regulated gaming, fintech platforms, compliance-led digital commerce and public service, Mark brings structured governance and regulatory expertise that few businesses of RockVine's size can access. He also serves as an elected councillor in Scotland and sits on the boards of several companies and charitable organisations.
RockVine operates with formal governance structures to ensure responsible growth, financial transparency and regulatory compliance. Mark plays a central role in overseeing these frameworks — helping position RockVine as a professionally governed British manufacturing brand that scales without sacrificing craftsmanship.
